Building Permits

Building permits are required for many projects that may be undertaken by the homeowner, or prospective homeowner. This requirement applies to both licensed craftsmen and homeowners. A site plan must be provided to the permitting department in order to obtain a permit.

If there is doubt as to the need for a permit, never hesitate to contact the City Inspector or Code Enforcement Officer at City Hall before beginning the project. Your inquiries are welcomed, and may eliminate problems at a later date.
