The Animal Control Division consists of one full-time (Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) and two part-time Animal Control Officers (Monday -Friday 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM) and weekend mornings.  All dogs and cats are required by ordinance to be licensed by the City of Burkburnett. Annual rabies vaccinations are also required.  Dogs and cat licenses are available at the Police Department Communications Center and can be contacted by phone at (940) 569-2231.
