City Secretary: Trish Holley

Trish Holley was appointed City Secretary on September 1, 1997. She has been employed with the city since January, 1990, serving as Assistant Secretary for 6 years prior to becoming City Secretary.

The Office of the City Secretary maintains information on formal actions of the City Council; meeting dates, times and places; election data; ordinances and resolutions; contracts; records management and other official City documents.

Mrs. Holley has lived in Burkburnett since 1989. She and her husband, Steve, have 1 daughter.

Public Works Department: Mike Whaley

Mike joined the City of Burkburnett in December, 1999. During the last seven years he has served the City of Burkburnett as Water Treatment Plant operator, Code Enforcement Officer and Water Superintendent. He was appointed Director of Public Works in January, 2007. His duties include, providing administrative direction for the departments of Water, Waste Water, Water Treatment Plant, and Streets. Supervises engineering functions including plan review, survey, construction inspection and design for City projects. He also coordinates the work of his departments with other City departments and state and federal government agencies.

Mike is a  member of Abundant Life Church of God and enjoys being a part of and serving this community.
