Setting up New Accounts for Water, Sewer and Garbage Service
Application for service must be made in person at the Water Department located inside City Hall at 501 Sheppard Road, 940-569-2263. A security deposit of $75.00 for residential accounts and $100.00 for commercial accounts is required of all new customers and must be paid before service can be started. The application process can be completed more quickly if you are prepared to supply the following information:
1. Requested service date and time 2. Service address
3. Customer name, date of birth, social security number, driver's license, phone number, and permanent contact address
Upon completion of the required paperwork, an appointment will be made with the customer to meet the Meter Department employee at the service address to turn the water meter on. We do require that someone (the customer or his representative ) be present when our employee acutally turns water on at the meter. |
